This week, I have been reflecting on some past events in my life. In hindsight, the excuses I made or the things I feared were so irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

The greatest risk I faced in those moments was losing myself, my peace, and my happiness, not anything else that I had magnified through fear.

Hersh Shefrin once said reality looks much more obvious in hindsight, and I completely agree.

𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐈 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐲𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮:

📍 To trust my inner compass more - that gut feeling. There's so much untapped wisdom inside of me that I must engage.

📍 I may never be able to determine an outcome 100%, but with all that I know about myself and with the evidence before me, I will make a move and take action. I have had my biggest breakthroughs so far following this principle and I must never lose sight of it.

📍 When the going gets tough, I must never sacrifice myself, my peace and my happiness because of fear of the unknown.

📍 Whatever the outcome is, good or bad, I must embrace it with pride knowing that I took a stand instead of sitting on the fence and being a spectator in my life's journey.
