Now let's talk about imposter syndrome.

Imposter syndrome is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their skills, talents, or accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a "fraud".

Sadly, research shows that women are more susceptible to this feeling.

According to the 2020 KPMG survey of 700+ high-performing, high-potential SVP-level women from Fortune 1000 companies, 75% reported that they had personally experienced imposter syndrome at certain points in their careers.

The survey uncovered a startling reality: 𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘧 𝘰𝘧 𝘦𝘹𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘶𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘺𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴. 😲

I think of Elon Musk in this instance, trying to get us all to the moon. If and when this becomes a reality, I am sure it won't come as a surprise to him, because Elon has already lived on the moon in his mind, even before physically getting us there.
